Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UBI)
Ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI) is a safe, proven medical procedure that kills bacteria and viruses, boosts the immune system, and rejuvenates the blood. UBI has been used extensively for decades to treat medical conditions including polio, pneumonia, tuberculosis, infections, and cancer.
UBI uses ultraviolet energy to oxygenate the blood and inactivate microbes and toxins. We draw the patient’s blood, run it through a device that exposes it to sanitizing ultraviolet rays, and then we return the treated blood to the patient’s vein. The photonic energy of ultraviolent light kills bacteria and viruses and increases the amount of oxygen in the bloodstream.
UBI helps to battle an infection by developing a strong internal response without the use of external antibiotics which damage gut flora. UBI therapy can be used in a number of situations, including psoriasis, bladder infections, chronic infections, gut issues like SIBO, and auto-immune diseases. The number of sessions needed may vary and depend on individual patient health, duration of the illness, and severity of disease being treated.
UBI stimulates your immune system, and for professional athletes, this can make for significantly better recovery times after workouts.
