BODY ACUPUNCTURE

Body Acupuncture is a traditional technique of placing hair-thin needles into specific points of the body. Acupuncture works by stimulating our parasympathetic nervous system (our rest and digest mode), allowing the body to relax and focus on the problem areas. The needles are left in the body for a period of 25-30 minutes and then removed.

COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE

Cosmetic Acupuncture is a technique used to insert specialist needles into the skin of the face, neck, and body. The needles work as a natural anti-aging treatment to help support the overall elasticity and complexion of the skin. The healing effect of the needles also helps to improve circulation and regenerate collagen and elastin of damaged tissue.

CUPPING

Cupping therapy is a technique that goes hand in hand with acupuncture. It’s a method of creating a small vacuum in a cup that is then placed over parts of the body that are affected and treated. This vacuum pulls on the skin, sometimes resulting in temporary discoloration of the skin called petechiae. The principal purpose behind discoloration is to improve circulation, thus helping the healing process. Any and all marks should clear in a few days.

ELECTRIC STIMULATION

Electric stimulation is the use of low-frequency currents being transferred through mini clips to acupuncture points. This stimulation creates continuous pulses throughout the treatment, making each session slightly stronger.

AURICULAR

The ear is considered to be a micro-system of the entire body. Therefore, every organ and body part can be located in specific areas of the ear. Physicians use this micro-system to help regulate imbalances or pain. Small herbal seeds are placed on points in the ear to stimulate the corresponding parts or organs. Auricular therapy is used to complement acupuncture and helps the patient self-treat in between Visits.

MOXIBUSTION

Moxibustion is a technique that uses the herb mudwort to warm specific acupuncture points indirectly. It is mainly used to increase blood flow and circulation. It is most effective for certain joint pains and menstrual problems.

HEAT THERAPY

Heat therapy is used in most, if not all, acupuncture treatments. A TDP lamp is used to warm certain areas of the body. TDP stands for Teding Diancibo Pu, this means special electromagnetic spectrum. There is a mineral plate within the lamp that consists of 33 trace elements found within the human body. The presence of these minerals combined with heat produces a stimulating and healing effect on the body as it reduces inflammation, improves microcirculation, and balances metabolism.

HERBAL THERAPY

Chinese herbs work in the same way food therapy does. They are a combination of different plants, roots, flowers, seeds, berries, etc. A variety of herbs are combined to create specific formulas for every patient. No one patient will receive the same formula. Every person has a different reason for having pain or feeling ill. For this reason, Chinese herbs are tailored to the individual. Most herbs are completely safe to take with any and all other medications, with little to no side Effects.

Herbs for Purchase

Herbs are available for purchase, and we are delighted to offer direct home delivery service for your convenience.

NADA Protocol for Anxiety

Discover the micro-system in your ear reflecting your entire body. With herbal seeds placed on specific ear points, this method harmonizes body imbalances and aids in self-treatment between sessions.
