Dr Kristopher Sean Goddard

Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

“Kristopher is the name I sign legal documents with but everyone who knows me calls me by middle name Sean.”

Dr. Sean Goddard compassionately seeks to promote health and well-being by assisting your body’s own natural health and self-healing abilities. He focuses on an evaluation of the musculoskeletal system, toxicities, nutrition, and identification and correction of structural problems. He is implementing non-pharmaceutical approaches, utilizing nonsurgical and natural treatments through including osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), platelet rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell injections, acupuncture, and the development of attitudes and lifestyles that help fight illness and prevent disease. OMT combined with all other aspects of medicine provides the most comprehensive care available in medicine today.

Dr. Goddard earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He majored in biochemistry and minored in mathematics and religious studies. While in medical school, Dr. Goddard also completed a fellowship in anatomy, and a predoctoral fellowship in osteopathic principles and practice. Dr. Goddard graduated from NOVA Southeastern in Davie, Florida, with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2008. He then pursued and completed a family practice residency program.
Additionally, Dr. Goddard completed the Leadership Training Program for Complementary and Alternative Medicine sponsored by National Institutes for Health (NIH) at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies. He also pursued coursework in Medical Acupuncture for Physicians through UCLA, prolotherapy, platelet rich plasma injections, stem cell injections, hands-on cranial coursework, and multiple courses in intravenous nutrients. He also participated in multiple conferences and fellowships. Dr. Goddard was chosen as the 2006 Student of the Year by Florida Academy of Osteopathy (FAO) as well as serving as class vice-president and the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) Osteopathic Awareness Co-Chair his first year in medical school.

“When I got hit in the face hard with a softball, doctors gave me medicine to blunt my pain but that was not a cure,” Dr. Goddard recalls. “That made me realize there were other aspects of medicine that were not part of the typical med school curriculum. I wanted to get into my toolbox early on a greater number of methods to help people, especially those that could quickly get to the root cause of their problem.”

Dr. Goddard considers continuing education of utmost importance to his patients and seeks to provide them with the most recent advances in integrative and osteopathic medicine possible.

“The most effective and ongoing states of health are stimulated from within.”
Technology and recent medical advances are studied, and the best are chosen to give patients an improved ability to fight infections, heal, and overcome any transient or chronic condition they may be battling. Enhancing metabolic processes through key supplements and developing reasonable goals for a more active lifestyle also enable the body to regenerate tissue more effectively and perform more optimally. Patients are empowered to enjoy this level of health with a custom-tailored plan catered to their particular needs. This allows his patients to find their own personal key to health, longevity, and a vastly increased quality of life.
“Science, technology, and access to research have enabled modern physicians to treat injury and disease in a manner that has never been seen before. It’s an exciting time to observe the integration and coordination of these advances, especially when the results are so profound.” Dr. Goddard believes that working with the body’s own healing mechanisms can produce a better quality of life: less pain, less medication, less invasive surgeries and procedures, and a more youthful, vibrant appearance and experience.

Dr. Goddard’s proficiency across the wide range of therapies ensures that each of his patients will have the tools necessary to drastically shift their health in a positive direction.
