Manipulation techniques offered

OMM restores balance to the whole body. Oftentimes, one of our practitioners will work on many areas of the body to allow for the most effective healing. As a patient receiving this treatment, you may be a passive or active participant in the process depending on the particular condition treated. The provider may ask you to contract muscles or use breathing. There are no quick or aggressive movements performed at our Center. Techniques performed at the Osteopathic Center allow the body to unwind and will progress for approximately three days after treatment.

There are numerous manipulation techniques we use alone or in combination on our patients.  The most common forms of manipulation use at the Osteopathic Center are:

  • Craniosacral Therapy
  • Neurofascial Release (NFR)
  • Counterstrain (CS)
  • Still Technique
  • Facilitated Positional Release (FPR)
  • Muscle energy (ME)
  • Myofascial Release (MFR)
  • Articulatory
  • Facilitated positional release
  • Facial technique / facial treatment
